ART FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Guided by the theme “Art for Entrepreneurship”, the VI edition of University Conferences took place in Madrid. The activities for this edition of University Conferences were widely varied.
The activities began with a visit to the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. Attendees enjoyed a piano concert given by Antonio Antón Cámara as well as a guided tour of instruments displayed in the Conservatory. Residents also enjoyed talks given by Teresa Catalán, Gregorio Marañón and Bertran de Lis.
In addition, residents spoke to great artists such as Irene Garcia-Inés at the Takkenberg House and witnessed the creative process of Pin Vega.
A visit to the city of Toledo gave participants the opportunity to walk and enjoy the ancient city, which has Jewish, Christian and Muslim cultural elements. Later they visited Osborne wineries where they partook in a wine tasting and learned about the varied wine production processes.
Lastly, Iranzu Sáinz de Murieta ran professional workshops.
More than 60 university students enjoyed this year’s University Conferences. Thank you to everyone who made this year’s edition possible!
